Penetrating light

I spent most of the day on the road travelling down south and then back and have the same journey tomorrow.  I stopped off to eat my sandwiches down a country lane and had a walk by the river.  When the sun was out it was very pleasant.  An accident on the A1 on the way back caused inevitable delays.
