Tiny Tuesday ... #58 ... Gem ...

It's not that I've no inspiration to find something else to picture than drops. But, there were many drops today. In fact it rained almost the whole day here. In the late afternoon the sun came from behind the grey curtain of clouds.

The flower in the picture is called Dianthus. The common name is carnation or sweet william. It's in a pot outside in the backyard. It's a small species.

A beautiful drop had formed on one of the petals. It is a colored and delicate expression of the rain day described above. And so one sees that a day like this also has its own beauty ... ;-)
