Saint Thérèse de Lisieux

First came to Lisieux about 18 years ago as a teacher. We brought the school kids here en route to Brittany. We slept overnight in the convent... eerie & magnificent all at the same time. Then had breakfast with the nuns. Loved it!

This time with LB visiting the Basilica.

We left the hotel in the morning and found a gorgeous beach, & island with house at Guesclin, near St. Coulomb. Lovely walk along the beach, up along the clifftop, then back to the beach for a paddle in the sea!!!

Then #vanlife for a picnic and chats in the back of the van with great sea views.

Our long drive back to Paris was interspersed with unexpected, spontaneous adventures and detours including;

Dol de Bretagne Cathedral & lighting candles, and Lisieux convent & Basilica.

Arrived in Paris at midnight.
Straight to bed for one (last) night only... xx
