Purple rain

Yesterday was the wettest July day for 75 years, and we got more than an inch and a half overnight.

That's an awful lot of rain for Adelaide.

I wouldn't mind if it dried up just a little tiny bit.

But right now this minute the sun is shining, and everything is glittering, including the hardenbergia where I took this shot.

I have to say, it's looking pretty spectacular right now - really brightens the place up, with its long racemes of purple pea flowers.

Thanks to Rainie for hosting Tiny Tuesday this week.  TT58  is the tag to use.
