machines that go 'ping'

Not the nicest of photos, no beautiful landscape or sunset, but the one that is most indicative of my day, which began with Dad waking me up and asking if I would take him to the doctor as he couldn't breathe. He's 90, and is as okay as he's going to be at the end of a day like this - I'm just grateful that I was home to take him and make it a bit easier on him.
