A walk from The Loons hide over Marwick Head to the Palace, then along to Northside and back to the village. A short-eared owl at the hide, but the birds of the day were the arctic tern chicks near Buckquoy- it looks like a good year for them. At the Birsay palace was an interesting cat...it is the extra...must find out what breed it is.
