Backflip

I was up far too early on a Saturday morning to take 6 members of Falmouth Senior Section (guiding aged 14-26) to Alton Towers. We met the coach in Truro at 8.00am and then spent 11 hours getting to AT as the f*****t who booked the coach thought Trowbridge in Wiltshire was a small detour for us to go and pick up some others followed by Cribs Causeway?!.  It was a GirlGuiding SouthWest event so why on earth the county furthest away from both Alton Towers AND Trowbridge was the one mohave their coach diverted...

Anyway, we arrived a little late and threw up the outer of the big tent to stick our stuff under (some lovely wonderful Scouters put my tent up - inner too), had tea and went swimming.  Obviously it was raining when we got back so we put the inner up and spent a somewhat damp night!
