Back in the Chilterns

It's been a bit of a shock today checking out butterflies in the Chilterns after seeing 124 species in Armenia in roughly 30 degree temperatures. However, it's been good to see most expected species on the wing, even though numbers are quite low. And there are advantages - not only did this Marbled White stay still for a while, I didn't have to check carefully whether it was Esper's or Balkan Marbled White!
