Post festival blues

No, not those kind of blues, just lavender!

Really, though, I was so tired after my big festival weekend all I managed today was some mild gardening.  So here is a blip of my Hidcote lavender.  It's a neat small shrub and the darkest colour of the ones in my garden, very unlike the great sprawling mid-blue monster by the steps that I've quite failed to control.  I also have a white English lavender, which is a bit special, but this is possibly my favourite.

PS I have desaturated the colour a bit, but it really is this bright
