Bamburgh Castle

A quick sortie to Bamburgh Castle just before the rain hit this morning and it's rained ever since. 

I just managed to get over a couple of dunes to get this shot of the beautiful wild flowers surrounding the castle but that was my limit today on the walking front as paying for yesterday. We ended up in a lovely pub in Caster with fresh crab sandwiches for lunch which were delicious!
