St Ninian's Isle
Drove down to Bigton today and walked over the wonderful tombolo to St Ninian's Isle. Then walked around the Isle seeing many seabirds including a few bonxies. Luckily they left us alone.
After a picnic and an ice cream from the Bigton Community Stores we carried on south to Sumburgh Head. Saw puffins, many, many gillemots and fulmars. There is a fantastic tearoom there with views over the airport to Fitful Head (extra).
Out tonight for some Shetland music. The sun has been shining all day.
