Hingin' a- Boot!

How quickly one slots back into normal life, despite living with the pangs of losing the familiar routine we had in Orkney.
It was business as usual this morning when we walked separately into town to stock the larder. We do it this way now so that I can stop and blip if necessary without causing His Lordship a moment's irritation -matrimonial harmony is always beneficial!

It was a grey still morning with the feeling that the weather was holding its breath before unleashing something exciting. I am still waiting, but all I can see is a sporadic light drizzle. High summer in Edinburgh!
