the day before

so today was mine and callums anniversary(2 years), and we went to visit his family in langholm for the common riding.
its really hard to explain what its all about-its being going on for over 250 years, whereby a male(yes, male!) gets elected cornet of the town, and he has to ride all day on a horse, opne handed, carrying a flag, and marking the borders of the town.
anyway, this wes the thursday, the night before, where we were ploughed with drink and food, and this is the 'toon band', who play the night before, and pretty much the whole day from 5am the day after.
good time, but too much fun, and not enough sleeping!
