Its a dogs life

First ever blip and is has to be of my wife`s third baby.Other two are too grown up to want to see their picture.

As I am new to DSLR photography and having seen the pictures both my son ans son in law can produce I thought it was my time to try so any hints and suggestions are more than welcome otherwise I will never get past auto.

As a person with self inflicted mild OCD (known to measure the distance of my keyboard from monitor at work with a ruler) all my pictures will be of random and dis organised things unless I see nice landscapes which really appeal.
