Brodick Castle.

It rained. Then the sun came out (for a minute). Then it rained again.

Gardens are genuinely lovely, but the adventure playground was swarming with midgies. Girls utterly oblivious but grownups spent the afternoon wildly flapping around and swearing (quietly).

I have an itchy head.
