Empty table and ....

...... an unexpected visitor!!
Today was a late lunch as The Rev was on duty, but just as he and KJD were leaving to come to me he was called back to the hospital. So it was an even latter lunch!!!
A blip at the right time was forgotten hence the empty table! But we enjoyed herby chicken , roast potatoes and parsnips, green beans , baby sweet corn and carrots . For afters KJD had made a delicious spiralized pear and caramel sponge pudding with ice cream and / or fruit salad . Finishing off with tea / coffee and sweeties provided by the Rev . It was lovely to see my grandson make an unexpected appearance too. He then put a new cartridge in my printer and printed a couple of documents for me, bless him, I think I'll keep him! ( he's rather special ) . So are all my grandchildren tho'. We hadn't seen my S in L and husband for some time so it was good to share the day.

Happy ...... to have had good company and the added bonus of fine weather.
