Joubarbe

These plants are hugely popular around here, and rightly so - they grow anywhere, with no water, regardless of heat or cold.  Today was Lavaur's big vide grenier (and I do mean big) and a bunch of these ended up being added to my purchases.  

CarbBoy bumped into a pal early on, and went back to his for games and swimming, while TallGirl and I battled on through the kissing, gossiping and catching up that is an inevitable part of any trip to Lavaur.  (I'm not complaining, by the way.)  Later, some purchasing of books, records, medals (very interesting), Mexican food (lunch).  While my back was briefly turned, TallGirl bought a sword and was quite close to buying handcuffs.

Later still, Mr B finally returned home, 20-odd hours later than planned, after further chaos in Paris.  This is no way to run a country.  Good football though.
