Spotted on the mandatory chateau visit.


Edit: it is a dovecote. A very large one placed at the entrance of the chateau to show off one's wealth. A bit too much showing off as one of the inhabitants met with Madame Guillotine!

Also, it actually housed pigeons which kept the owners well fed.
