No pasaran!

My university project has been all about keeping alive the memory of British volunteers who joined the Brigades in the Spanish Civil War.

These men and women put their Iives on the line to halt the spread of fascism and in my eyes are true heroes. Sadly, however, many people today are unaware of their sacrifice.

In this 80th anniversary year of the start of the civil war, I hope there is renewed recognition of their bravery.
