Buds

A promise of better things to come.  These slightly reptilian buds on Crocosmia 'Lucifer' will soon morph into bright red flowers which will warm up this cool corner of the garden.

A day of two halves.  Garden and Kitchen this morning gave way to Sunday lunch and post lunch card games with Amy.  Mid-afternoon, off to work again.
