This Is Not Today

My Dear Fellow,

I like today's title, in a "This Is Not A Pipe" sort of way.

The picture was not taken today, is what I am trying to say. It was taken in July, but not this year. I suppose every Edinburgh blip has to have at least one photo of this sort in it somewhere so here is mine.

Er Indoors is going out to see "Absolutely Fabulous" at the cinema today. She told me that it occurred to her the she looks a bit like Pats and the friend accompanying her looks a bit like Edina. As I've been struggling for a Blip-Name for Friend, Edina it is from here on.

So Er Indoors is meeting Edina Monsoon at 5.30 at the Vue. I declined to go. I have a medical condition: I seem to have mislaid my @rse ha ha.

So today will be a lazy day for me. Looking for this photo in my folders is about as active as I have got. Another 10 minutes of fruitless searching and you would have been treated to a blip of the couch, or possibly the underside of a duvet. 

So be grateful. The Castle, circa 2013. Fabulous, dahling.
