Great niece Jasmine (9) loves my hens and is particularly fond of a Red Shaver she has named Barbara. Fortunately, Barbara doesn't mind being picked up and carried around whenever Jasmine comes to visit me.
The extra photo is of this morning's heavy frost. It had gone by 10 a.m. and we had a beautiful day with a high of 21C.
