Good growing weather!

A busy and emotional day with two football tournaments, quick nip to the allotment, back home a couple of visitors, three other guests for tea... Cheering Germany through penalties (the first time I've backed a German penalty!)

Tears at midnight with PK. Partly tired, partly complex friendships, (probably also missing mum although neither of us dare to admit it yet, as it is too soon)

Today I'm grateful for our guest encouraging PK in a much needed way, that she couldn't hear from her dad, and some really good parenting advice delivered through tears at midnight from my daughter.
