Slow down - me?

Maybe Chacha doesn’t understand that she should be taking it easy after her op? It’s hard to stop her jumping up, let alone racing after Kayla. Let’s hope the surgical jacket will do its job.
 
We have a dinner party tomorrow and lots to prepare so we had to come down today, in spite of only getting up here yesterday afternoon. Not feeling at all optimistic that Chacha will adapt to being left here and tried not to look at the two dejected faces as we drove off.
 
We called in on our invalid friend on the way and then took a big detour to lodge a complaint and a claim at the store where we bought floor tiles – last year! After many phone calls and emails I was told I had to go to the store in person, and never managed to find the time.  However, squeezing it in on our way down was worth the effort – we may get our compensation after all.
