A Happy Young Lady!

This young lady, our niece, has every reason to look happy as she graduated yesterday in Glasgow as a vet so keeping on the family tradition I started almost exactly 44 years ago.

Her dream of becoming an equine vet has also taken a step closer as she has just been accepted for an internship in a top equine practice starting in August and before that she will be working for a few weeks in another equine practice where she went as a student.

We had a lovely family lunch today in "The Bothy" with her mum and dad, brother and sister, boyfriend and other relatives and friends. Great overnight stay in Glasgow and got caught in the rain trying to negotiate the huge Orange Order Parade which brought the centre of Glasgow to a standstill as we tried to get to the restaurant.

Then it was back in the train to home - so glad I hadn't brought the car!
