........busy,busy day.............

Well...the letter arrived this morning..........Magnetic Resonance Imaging Centre............Wednesday...........1.30........when you see the words "MR scan brain and cervical spine"...........it gives you pause for thought.

I'm still positive.....but now it's real.............Helen had a similar scan last August........and we know how that turned out.

Today has been hectic............the cats woke me up at 6.45...........but I had managed about 5 hours sleep.....breakfast.......bottles and cardboard out to the bin.............cat's litter tray............grocery delivery............coffee.......tidy up.........and then the DiL arrived with Charlotte and Hannah closely followed by the Daughter.....several hours before I was expecting them. They were supposed to be at the girl's school Summer Fair......but the weather cut it short.....so lots of playing etc, etc...and then I cooked for us all. I wasn't moving too well..........been on my feet a lot........after the family bailed out I took an Ibuprofen.......and watched the football...........and the swelling went down.

Charlotte had some clothes sent from our friend in Spain......she took an instant shine to the Dalmation onesie.......and the faux fur waistcoat.......but was eventually persuaded that she would be too hot wearing them both.

The S & H has been working this weekend............I may get a treat tomorrow....he works for a company that sells parts and accessories for Harley-Davidson......his job this weekend was to take the firms bike to an Open day in Notingham....he may bring it round here in the van tomorrow......and start it up for me.............Helen got the chance to sit on a Hog and start it up a while ago.....see my blip 17th March  2012.

See the Germans won another penalty shoot out tonight.
