Boys With The Black Stuff

For most of today, we were confined to barracks, thanks to the road being resurfaced. Check out the newly clipped hedge too!

In the morning over a cuppa, I added my two penneth worth to a heated exchange on the Blipfoto friends Facebook group. The post and all its associated comments have since been deleted, which is probably for the best - being excellent to each other hadn't transferred to the group, on the part of the few at least. It started with an innocent enough question about whether we should value and respect the rule requiring a photo to be posted only on the day it was taken. Quite how some people can be so obtuse is beyond me.

The rest of the day was taken up with lawn mowing, mower fixing, patio laying, rain shower dodging and pizza eating. Miss I is enjoying the company of one of her friends for tea and a sleep over. They're currently enjoying a game of cramming as many marshmallows into their mouths as possible, whilst trying to understand each others conversation. It's causing quite some amusement.

I think it's time for a beer. Evening all!
