Kyles of Bute

If this had been a weekday, I'd have been delighted to have a day out in Rothesay for work.  But it was Saturday, and I don;t like losing my Saturday.

Still, I had a smooth run through and caught an earlier ferry than expected, had a coffee and caramel wafer in the westernmost Zavaroni's, lunch in a new cafe called Liz's Diner, a relatively short bit of work and a cone (tasty, though not whipped) in the middle Zavaroni's.  Passed the easternmost Zavaroni's but didn't go in. 

No amount of cones can make it not a Saturday, though.
