Still Life

Not sure if there's still life after today.

Tedious.

Tedious weather made for a tedious day. I was expecting to spend most of the day gardening, but the weather wasn't as forecast.

Instead of sunshine and showers, we got three downpours followed by a couple of hours of sun. By then the garden was sodden.

I got some tidying up done while it was sunny, including cutting the Blipped roses - the bush grows where you can't see it. A masterpiece of planning by the previous occupants.

Please keep your fingers crossed for the weather being as forecast tomorrow. The plan is to climb a hill. 5-6 hours hiking. A 90 minute drive followed by an hour on the ferry to get there.
