Falls of Foyers

Staying at my mother in law's in Inverness for a few days.

My husband and I drove along Loch Ness and stopped at Foyers. There were quite a few vehicles around and just as we started to walk down to the Falls there were a lot of people coming up towards us. Paramedics, coastguards and RNLI personnel were all carrying a stretcher up the very steep and windy path. At first we thought it was an exercise but as they passed us we realised it was a young lad in considerable pain. As we continued on our way down we saw an air ambulance overhead. Certainly a lot of resources had been used in the rescue.
