Sunday run

For the first time in ages I actually managed a few hours on the bike on a Sunday morning. It was perfect, warm and sunny with a hint of a breeze. Easy cycling and lots of smiley people about*. I've decide that cycling over the barriers is one of my favourite things to do.

Came home in time for lunch and the women's Olympic road race, followed by some pottering in the garden showing the cats how to do tai chi and battling with the weeds.

* apart from some pathetic eejits in cars that seemed to be in a tearing hurry to get somewhere and think it's their duty to intimidate cyclists and pedestrians.
