Preparations

A day of preparations - getting ready for a week away in Snowdonia.

The fridge, freezer and food cupboards were stocked up yesterday so that the family don't starve while I am away.

The camera bag was packed until I unpacked the bits I needed to take this blip!

Clothes etc. are mostly packed. So a morning spent in the kitchen baking choc-chip cookies, blueberry muffins, a chocolate sponge cake and chicken and bacon with mushrooms and parsley for a main course. That's all to go with me so that we don't starve before we find local food shops and eateries.

Having done all that inside, as soon as I stepped outside to do a little in the garden, it started to rain!
