Back in the Cool Country

A bit of back-blipping here since there's no web service in the park.
The heat wave experienced in the Bitterroot was broken by a trip to the upper regions of Glacier Park during the Pleine Air Paintout....30 artists painting Glacier for a show at the Hockaday Museum in Kalispell. This day opened with rain as I searched out the artists.
In EXTRAS, friend Margaret is spotted along the Going-to-the-Sun Hiway painting at McDonald Creek. The second extra is Bird-Woman Falls. The afternoon brought the sun once again and the thermometer climbed to 75 degrees.
