FLY-ME
Starboard flap up, port flap at the ready. Oscar is here on a one night sleepover.
Latest developments: DO NOT READ if eating or of a queasy disposition.
S arrived at St George's expecting another patch transfusion but instead was whipped into surgery and had his head drilled. He mercifully had a general anesthetic so did not see the apparent mass of blood etc which shot out of his head, but the pressure has been released. He has texted and phoned this morning and, though now with a different sort of headache, is on morphine and talking just fine. He now has to wait until Monday to see what the Professor says. More waiting, but at least something has been done and he is in the right place.
Thank you for your supportive messages and good wishes for S.
I've rediscovered how helpful it is to "talk". You are very special people.
