Alcåcer Do Sal

Spent the day having breakfast in Grandola then traveling around the area nearby considering M and D's potential direction including the possibility of them moving to the area.  We stopped for lunch in this fine town on the river which sports a castle on the left top of this photo and the main church on the right.  You can't seem them from this view, but the inevitable Stork nests are situated on the church towers.  Very pleasant town that feels like an excellent tourist destination, with Tourist information bureau etc, but no real sign of any tourists - not an uncommon phenomenon apparently.  Ended up in Evora and enjoyed a short walk to see the Roman temple in the dark which I posted as my extra.
