The Somme remembered

They shall not grow old ,
    As we that are left grow old,

Today we remember the first day of the Battle of the Somme and this sand drawing by 'Sand in your Eye' shows the soldiers going off to war - it was soon to be washed away in remembrance of the lives that were lost.
