Tough Choice
Of photographs, this one or one of Samantha, more later.
After dropping Joshu at school I headed to Bodmin for the Somme Centenery Commemoration service.
Originally refuse permission to lay a wreath I nevertheless took one, spoke to the Parade Marshal, a friend, and laid it during the ceremony.
Today's proceedings were largely about the DCLI but men served in other regiments and services. Our wreath had its card written to remind people that sailors and marines formed into ground units served on the Western Front, including the Somme.
Elsewhere a nervous Samantha was presenting herself for interview at Tregye Campus for a year long Art Course prior to entering University.
After a detailed study of her portfolio, a probing interview and a look around the facilities she was offered a place.
She aced it.
Joshua shooting in the evening combined with the supermarket run. Then an evening exiled to the dining room as Gin Club was meeting in the lounge.
