Spiral

Each time the rain stopped and the sun briefly appeared I ran out to take some photos of the drookit bees clinging to the battered flowers.

In the end, this was my favourite photo of the day. Taken early this morning. Clinging onto the poppy seed head. I could have saved myself the midgie bites.
