Does it Begin with B?

I have to confess I don't know what this flower is, it looks a bit like a thistle and I'm rather hoping it begins with B so it will be suitable for today's Flower Friday challenge (on the theme of B). Thank you to Bikerbear for hosting.
I hope dear friend B. likes it as it's Wimbledon colours and she is looking forward to going there tomorrow.
