Turtle Eggs

Yesterday I featured crabs on our patio, today it is future turtles on Playa La Ropa. I was recovering after my morning run when I spotted this worker from the Viceroy Hotel collecting turtle eggs on the edge of their property. He assented to some photos as he went about his business. I managed to include a small crab as he picked up the final egg. I can only assume they will rebury them in a safer spot, then help the hatchling turtles to the water in about 60 days time.
