Fish out of water

Happy Birthday baby sister! I would die without Skype, plain and simple.

Those Olympic swimmers are really fish in human disguise, that's what I think. Amazing to watch. Then there is synchronized swimming-one of those sports you poo-poo and make fun of and exclaim that you can't believe it's an Olympic sport-until one day while you're in a pool you try it and throw your back out and inhale the whole pool into your head when you try going upside down. Not that I would know.

The visit to Lois in the transitional care home would have been depressing had it not been for the fact that she had us in stitches over the irritating doings of all the "old" people there. Mind you, she is 85 herself. I just want her to come home. Well. And right now.

I realize that this doesn't look very realistic because there is no splashing. Maybe tomorrow I'll try for a Polly Pockets Olympic dive.
