We finally made it to Tate Liverpool and the fantastic Turner - Monet - Twombly exhibition.

The kids are great at wandering around looking but we still can't plug into the audio tour and leave them their own devices. So we do the kid friendly version of looking at the exhibition in an ad-hoc fashion, answering completely bonkers questions and reminding them gently to keep their distance! Still, I managed to absorb something - somehow!

Then it was a quick shop to find boy's shorts (something it seems I should have done back in March -the shops are full of autumn stuff!) - our family holiday in three weeks!
