Wednesday
I'm worried that Brendon here, is going a little brown...
It was my step dads birthday today but we didn't really do much. We went out for dinner last night because he was busy today.
Second last day of school before the summer holidays!
Warning. The next part of my retelling of today gets a lil graphic.Willow brought in a bird late this afternoon. I heard her playing with it from upstairs and there wasn't much I could do to help it but didn't particularly want bird all over the back room (That has happened before and it was very messy) so I went downstairs to see what I could do. After I had gotten close enough to the growling Willow, I picked her up (whilst she held the bird very firmly in her mouth) and put her outside. She actually ended up eating it (all of it, feathers, bones, everything. Except the head. She left that on the back door step for us to find later.) In a way, it's almost better that she ate it rather than just catching it for the fun, to play with. It's still horrible but, she's a cat - it's natural for her to want to hunt and there isn't much we can do about that. Besides - it's not much different than us humans, just perhaps without the playing with it when it's half alive bit. We kill things too. It's 'the circle of life' which I have come to accept when I find a dead mouse on the back room floor in the morning.
