Funny things you find when out walking

Whilst taking the dogs for a walk we saw something fastened to the fence in the field, (see top pic) on investigating further we found these two laminated pieces in memory of someone's Mum and Dad. But this field is only used occasionally by the odd dog walker and the fence is way off the track. I wonder who they were and why there, maybe mum and dad used to like to walk in that field, who knows.
Weather wise Not a bad day today, quite mild with occasional sunshine, rain tonight.
