Not Switzerland but...

Upton-on-Severn! I had organised a leisure cruise on the river for ten of us Learners' Circle members this afternoon. It went well, despite the rain on arrival. Later it cleared and we sat outside on deck looking for kingfishers. The light was very low, so photography was not easy.

Part of the purpose of the Learners' Circle is to encourage friendships between people who might not otherwise meet because they attend different WEA classes. I saw plenty of chatting and bonding today, so we have ticked that box! CleanSteve and I might go back in a month or so for the cruise to Worcester, as this involves spending more time on the boat.
