Abstract Thursday - Mystery

This is a scene outside the offices in the centre of Milton Keynes. It features Octo by Wendy Taylor - my favourite artwork in the city and one that was threatened recently until it was Grade II listed in January. It's a twisting ribbon of stainless steel forming a Mobius strip - a continuous surface without an inside or outside, which to me is definitely a mystery. It sits on a reflecting pool and by offices with mirrored glass, so the reflections are great too and perfect for HDR. Obviously with this being Abstract Thursday - I have played around with the shot too!
