Bamse

I was talking to a friend the other week about the tourists who take photos of the Greyfriars Bobby statue and I wondered if they ever get disappointed by the fact that it's not very big.

I passed through Montrose for the first time in years today and discovered they have a statue of a dog that knocks Bobby into a cockit hat. Bamse was a St Bernard who belonged to a Norwegian captain in the last War and was popular with the sailors.
