Fix & Fertig

This is how you describe yourself after a really busy and stressful day - ich bin fix und fertig.

It goes for Moot today as well.  He was at the vet for a thorough going over - blood samples are in the lab, he had an x-ray and the vet had a good look at everything.

He's fine apart from a few minor bits and pieces - which is good to hear.

I had another day of weirdness interspersed with small victories.  The small victories made me very happy.  Mainly because they were things that I had written and they worked like they were supposed to.

Every time the telephone has rung this week, it's been a "it can't be weirder than the last call" moment and then it invariably is.

That sort of nonsense shouldn't happen tomorrow.  Our company has its annual Fest and that means everybody gets sent home at 12:30.  For most people that means a flex morning off and it should mean that I'll be alone in the office until then.  maybe this time I'll be able to find the lightswitch.
