Home time

We were all packed and had time for breakfast in the hotel this morning before our pick up at 10.15am. Our friends, the bride, groom and their little boy, together with a couple of other members of the wedding party came to wave us off. There were seven of us departing this morning.

This is the last shot from me of lovely Rhodes; some local boys playing outside in the sunshine.......not something you see too often these days, especially in this country, and don't they look healthy!

Our flight home left more or less on time, pretty uneventful journey. We came down through thick cloud and landed during a heavy shower!! Luckily we didn't get wet and by the time our luggage came through and we met up with our taxi driver, the skies had brightened. Traffic was still quite heavy even though it was coming up to 7pm.

Had another lovely meal tonight.....ha ha, beans on toast!!!

All unpacked now, washing machine going like the clappers..........garden looks a bit wild, think we will need a good few days work to get it looking anything like decent again!!
The delphiniums and roses have taken a battering, lots of broken flower heads :-(

On the plus side, it's not raining at the moment :-/

We are pretty tired, it's been a long day, as Rhodes was two hours ahead of our time, so we are off up the wooden hill now, night night!
