Aperture on Life

Raindrops

The days have been warmer but the trend for rain doesn't change.  Neither does my ability to to be late for everything.

I was  late to get home this morning, late to wake from my morning sleep, too late to save my ewe who gave no signs to suggest flystrike last night, late to get to the course I'm running in a local centre and too late to meet the man who collects fallen livestock.

Not a good day, compounded by the bank who have failed to send me a new bank cards which disappeared into thin air and were cancelled on the 17th.  Of course, nobody knows why the request to send them wasn't fulfilled. In the meantime, I've run out of cash, the petrol stations won't accept cheques and my nearest branch is in north London, miles away.

On the bright side, I gave up chasing my tail, dissolved into the sofa and watched Willis play Federa.  That gave me a smile.

Oh, and I was too late to put up my blip.  A better day is expected tomorrow.
